There are many things you can do online at our Surgery

You can use online services to book an appointment, order a repeat prescription, get a sick certificate, get test results, ask about a non-urgent medical problem, request a video consultation, or view your medical record.

Which Online Service do I use?

There are different online services for different tasks.

Patchs

If you are a patient at our Practice, there are some tasks you can do using PATCHS account on the PATCHS website.

  • Ask a question
  • Complete an online form to ask about a non-urgent medical problem
  • Get information on self-care and community services
  • Request a sick note
  • Request a video consultation

Your NHS account/NHS App

If you are a patient at our Practice you can use your NHS account (on the NHS website or in the NHS app). This is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

  • Book or cancel a routine appointment (call the surgery for an urgent appointment)
  • Order a repeat prescription -see your available medicines, request a new repeat prescription and choose a pharmacy for your prescriptions to be sent to.
  • Get your test results.
  • View parts of your GP record - including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses, and test results.
  • Check your symptoms - search trusted NHS information and advice on hundreds of conditions and treatments and get instant advice or medical help near you.
  • Register your organ donation decision - choose to donate some or all of your organs and check your registered decision.
  • Find out how the NHS uses your data - choose if data from your health records is shared for research and planning.

If you’re a patient at our practice you can use the NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

Setting up an NHS account

  • To set up your NHS account for the first time, you will need to set up an NHS login. Read about how to set up NHS login
  • Once you have set up your NHS login, you can log in to your NHS account or download the NHS App onto your phone.

Appointments available to book online via the NHS App

For us to continue offering and expanding our appointment options we need all our patients to only use the NHS app when booking online appointments.

Use the NHS App

SystmOnline

If you are a patient at our Practice you can use your SystmOne Online account (or in the Airmid app) to:

  • Book or cancel a routine appointment (call the surgery for an urgent appointment)
  • Order a repeat prescription
  • Get your test results
  • View your medical record

Setting up SystmOne Online

To set up SystmOne Online for the first time:

  • visit the surgery with photo ID so we can confirm your identity
  • we will give you a username and password
  • go to SystmOnline or use the app to register

Accessing someone else's information

As a parent, family member or carer, you may be able to access services for someone else. We call this having proxy access. 

We can set this up for you if you are both registered with us.

To request proxy access:

  • collect a proxy access form from reception from 8am to 6:30pm 
  • visit the Practice with photo ID so we can confirm your identity
