Ordering Repeat Prescriptions

The easiest way to order repeat prescriptions are:

  1. Using your SystmOnline account
  2. Using your NHS account (on the NHS website or in the NHS app)
  3. Come into the practice and our team will help you face to face
  4. Asking your pharmacy directly to order it for you

These accounts show you all your repeat medicine and dosage and you can choose the ones you need.

Only order medications that you need and if you have less than 7 days of medication remaining.

We are not currently accepting prescriptions requests over the phone except for vulnerable or elderly patients.

Emergency Prescriptions

You can request a limited emergency supply of a medicine if you've completely run out. This must be a medicine you are prescribed regularly through a repeat prescription. You will be charged your usual prescription fee. If you do not usually pay, it will be free.

What to do with old medicines

Take it to the pharmacy you got it from or bring it in to the surgery. Do not put it in your household bin or flush it down the toilet.
